Chaos in Rome! 🇮🇹

Hey guys! You won’t believe what happened on my trip to Italy last week.

My best friend and I finally went on that package holiday to Rome we’ve been talking about. We booked our flight months ago to save some cash. On the day we had to set off, everything went wrong! My brother was supposed to pick us up and give us a lift to the airport, but he was 30 minutes late! 😤

Then, we got stuck in the biggest traffic jam I’ve ever seen. It was the middle of the rush hour and cars weren’t moving at all. We were so scared we would miss our flight. When we finally arrived, he dropped us off and we sprinted to the gate. We checked in just in time and got on the plane exactly two minutes before it took off. Talk about stress!

Once we landed in sunny Italy, it was much better. We used public transport to get to our hotel. We checked into our room, left our bags, and went to look around. We even joined a cool guided tour of the Vatican. We got lost once in those narrow streets, but we asked for directions and a local guy was super helpful. It was a safe journey in the end, but man, what a start!
